What is your definition of righteousness? The main response I have heard in Bible study groups is "being right with God." What do you do when/if you have the feeling that maybe things are not right between you and God? Today's reading and scriptures
give us some good "food for thought" in this area.
The
scripture that especially spoke to me is the one from Ephesians 4:22-24.
What a wonderful blessing to realize that we can get rid of our old self,
and then actually "put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." I praise God that I can become more like Him by allowing His Spirit to work in and through me. It is then that I can wear a "robe of righteousness" and become a new person!
