The words from John 14:27 about peace have meant so much to me
through many of life's "messy days" - as Sarah Young calls them in
today's reading. I can't say they have calmed every storm but I can say
that when I have re-focused on these words (along with other favorite
scriptures), something in my mind and heart DOES change!
I
can't imagine really being able to have God share His mind with me -
but we are assured that is what happens when we seek Him and His loving
Presence. I thank God for His promise in John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you...Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
