How to Be Strong - Even in Our Weakness!

The devotionals from yesterday and today both begin with "Come to me." What wonderful reminders that our Lord is constantly calling us to come closer to Him. Today's reading focused especially on times that we recognize our weaknesses - sometimes from comparing ourselves to others.

The scripture that especially spoke to me was the one from Romans 8:26 since we are told that "...the Spirit helps us in our weakness." Another favorite passage about this topic is from 2 Corinthians 12:8-10. I had a big "Aha!" a few years ago at the powerful meaning of this scripture, especially the part that says, "My Grace is sufficient for you; My Power is made perfect in weakness."  

I praise God for His assurance that His Spirit and Love are all that we need! Please share any stories, scriptures or hymns that support the belief that in times that we are weak and weary, we can "rest snugly in My (God's) everlasting arms."
