Today's devotional focuses on the need to spend time alone with our Lord and to saturate our mind with Scripture. Our time is so precious but God can help us use this time. Today, I hope that you take a few minutes to listen to this beautiful song and read the lyrics that use the scripture from Psalm 119:15. The pictures in the video are also compelling: Thy Word is a Lamp Unto My Feet and a Light Unto My Path.
As I listened to this song and focused on the words, it became clear that the only way to have God as a "lamp unto my feet and light unto my path" is to study His Word. Did this experience speak to your heart the way it did mine?
For me the use of time was an important part of today's reading...or rather my misuse and lack of focus of time and energy. While listening to the suggest music on YouTube, I noticed a selection entitled " in His Time" which I then listened to, and found much peace and beauty. Sarah Young's book seems to speak to various people in various ways...this blog seems to tie searchers together, in God's Spirit!
