This is the Day the Lord Has Made!

I think I have shared in a previous blog about my years teaching kindergarten in a private Christian school. We were expected to start every day with prayer and singing a few songs about God's love and glory. One of them was taken today's scripture from Psalms 118:24. This version is a bit different than the one we sang but is still a wonderful reminder to rejoice and be glad in this day: "This is the Day the Lord Has Made"  I look back on those days and realize that by starting the day like this, we did recognize God's Presence and guidance. I also decided that the song and/or scripture from Psalms is one way I now commit to using as I begin my days.

Please join me today in taking time to stop and look for God's Presence in our lives - and rejoice and be glad in this and everyday! Let's praise God for this new day!
