What a wonderful reminder of how great is God's love: "Be awed by the vast dimension of My Love for you: wider, longer, higher, and deeper than anything you know!"
Today in the U.S., we are celebrating Thanksgiving. I pray that wherever we live that we take time today to thank the Lord for all that He has done for us. The lyrics of the hymn, "Give Thanks" are beautiful reminders of God's Love and Presence.
While reading today's devotional and scriptures, I thought of another powerful hymn, "Blessed Assurance."
I enjoyed reading the lyrics and listening to the music, but I had not
realized that these words were written by Fanny Crosby, a blind hymn writer! What a blessing these words have given to the world as she sang, "This is my story; This is my song; Praising my Savior all the day long."I began wondering what is my story - and what is yours? Let us include praise to our Lord in not only today's story but the ones that we live everyday!
