Today's scripture passage from Philippians 4 spoke powerfully to me, especially the lines that say "It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Related to this scripture, Sarah Young reminds us that God's Nature is to bless and will shower "Peace in to the pool of your mind." Can you imagine what it would be like to empty ourselves totally of worry, stress, anger, etc., so that God could give us His wonderful Peace?
What blessed reassurance to also be reminded that when we truly seek our Lord, we WILL find Him if we seek Him with all our heart! Are there ways that you have found that help you do this every moment of every day? Please share with me and others any thoughts that you have on this idea so that we might be filled with God's Peace.
I realize that I have previously posted this beautiful old hymn, "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus." However, this version contains the lyrics that we can focus on as we worship our Lord and seek His face.
