What a blessing to be reminded NOTHING can separate us from the love of God - "Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation!"
The first time I remember this passage is when I was visiting a friend
during one of her last days on earth. A pastor came to visit and read
Romans 8:39. The atmosphere in the room seemed to change! There was no
doubt that our Lord was there in that room with us - and especially with
her!
An old hymn entitled "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms" is
a different way to think about today's devotional reading - and
to remember in days to come. I hope you have time to listen closely to
the lyrics as you worship our Lord today as this group of men sing this acapella version.
