The words from today's devotional that especially spoke to me were "I did not design the human mind to figure out the future. That is beyond your capability." I do an excellent job of worrying about the future and trying to make plans for some of the "What ifs?" This reading is so clear that God does not intend for me to do that! I need to simply take all these fears and worries to my Lord in order to receive His Peace!
All of today's scriptures are powerful ones that have been meaningful to me during some of life's ups and downs. However, the one from I Peter 5:7 is one that I need to make an integral part of my spiritual "being:" "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
