Don't Be Afraid - Just Stay Close to Him!

A recurring message in the Bible and in Sarah Young's writings is "Don't be afraid!" We are reminded that if we just "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."  I keep wondering why I can't do that ALL THE TIME and throw away my doubts and worries and fears!

During this Holiest week of the year, I pray for you and me to be able to have a closer walk with our Lord. In that way  we can let go of our fears and have a greater Peace with Him. "Just a Closer Walk With Thee" is a beautiful hymn that embraces reassuring words including:
      "I'll be satisfied as long; As I walk, let me walk close to Thee."
