God's Spirit that Fills Us With Joy

In today's devotional reading, we are reminded of the effects of enjoying God's Presence with us. The scripture in Galatians 5:22-23 about the fruits of the Spirit is such a powerful one! By allowing His Spirit to be infused in us, we can be filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control! 

Can you imagine what our lives would be like if we allowed God's Spirit to guide every thought, word and action? What would our city, country and world be like if God's Spirit permeated us?

I pray that you enjoy the old children's song, "I've God the Joy, Joy, Joy Down in My Heart." It seems that when we are filled with His Spirit, we really should also be filled with His JOY!!
