What a blessing to know that God has overcome the world and "deprived it of power" to hurt us. I praise God for His reminder of this and that we can be "refreshed" with His Peace and in His Presence! I especially cling to the thought that God is walking beside me and in front of me everyday - all day!
Do you have times when you can really FEEL God walking with you and realize that He is granting you His Peace? One of mine was when I was in the hospital for some strange virus (or bacteria). I was on IV's and monitors but in some amazing way, I felt at Peace. That could only come from prayers of others and of God's Presence with me.
