Do We Believe God's Promises?

We are reminded in today's reading and scriptures about a few of God's Promises. I used to have a small book of scriptures that is filled with HUNDREDS of His Promises. As I looked on Amazon, I noticed that there are dozens of books regarding His Promises for all our needs. My questions to myself are:

• "How many of these Promises have I committed to heart to I can call on them when I need them?"

• "Do I really believe all of these Promises and cling to them at all times?"

What about you? How do you make this happen in your life? I have just listened to several different versions of the hymn, "Standing on the Promises." This particular one is a country-western but has a special blessing in that it has not only the lyrics but related Bible verses. I pray that you will be blessed by the hymn and the scriptures as I have in today's worship time.
