One Gift That Can't Be Lost

A scripture that particularly spoke to me today was the first part of the one from Psalm 62: "Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will ot be shaken."  The reason that this passage holds such special meaning is that some of those words were spoken by my dad, a non-church goer, to a hospital chaplain as dad lay on his death bed. His death became much easier for all of his family as we were reminded of dad's words, "My only hope is in the Lord."

Another closely related scripture is from Romans 8:38-39: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Do you have scriptures that you hold near as reminders that the most important gift in life CANNOT BE LOST? Please share with me and other readers.
