Today's reading reminded me in a powerful way about the fact that God IS present with me every minute of every day! He IS trying to communicate with me in so many ways. However, I have to be responsible for my part by taking the time to stop and look and listen for His presence! That sounds so simple but in today's world of busyness, we know that isn't as easy as it sounds.
Do you have ways that you have found helpful to guide you in recognizing His presence in your everyday life?
I've had a few days to get completely away from the busyness, and I love your comment on it being our responsibility to create theses time. This reminds me how easily I forget to be intentional in my awareness. I find it necessary to get completely away from the familiar - to break what easily becomes my routine rather than God's.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I'm so glad that you were able to get away from "busyness" - even for a short period of time. I did that last week and was amazed at how differently I felt - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Surely, we have a lesson/nudge from our Lord about how He wants us to live our lives!
