I realize that God knows all about me, so I wonder why I sometimes think I am "hiding" wounds or anger from Him or lack of forgiveness from Him. I especially appreciate the scripture from I John 4 that "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear." This reminds me of how great is God's perfect love for me - and that I don't have to be afraid for Him to know my thoughts, worries, anger, or fears.
At this particular time in my life, I especially needed to focus on the idea of God's transforming Presence! It's so amazing to me how many times that has happened when reading one of these devotionals. Do you have times that you feel this way - that surely these words were meant "just for you?"
