Today's scripture from John 10:10 is one that that has been meaningful in my life. I truly think God wants
us to have an abundant life and to live joyfully. However, we are
continually reminded through scripture and these devotional readings
that it is up to us to trust totally in our Lord for us to have an
abundant, joyful life.
The words of the hymn, "Sweet Hour of Prayer"
are powerful ones about God's Love and Presence when we come to Him
with an open heart. I pray that you will join me in focusing on these
words during our worship time today. (I understand this hymn has been
