The scriptures and devotional in today's reading make it clear that we were called by God to live in peace and that this peace can rule in our hearts. This
reading made me think about the fact that we first have to make up our
mind to set apart time each day for to be quietly with our Lord. I don't
think He will ever rule our hearts if we stay so rushed in this "world
of flux."
As we approach the time of Lent, will you join me
and other readers in setting aside time EVERYDAY - whether at work,
first thing in the morning, at lunch or dinner time, etc. - to be with
our Lord? Let's make a commitment to allow Him to rule our heart!
