A friend once told me that her doctor said when we worry, it shows a
lack of trust - that we have a choice to do one or the other! At first,
that seemed like a rather harsh statement, but today's devotional says
about the same thing. Additional scriptures that are very powerful on
this topic are some of Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount in
Matthew 6:25-34 which ends with these words: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
When I was in Sunday School as a child, I learned a relevant song that still stays with me: "Why Worry When You Can Pray?" Please share any other links to music that gives
