I have no doubt that I and many other "good Christians" sin on most days. At my stage in life, many of my sins are more like "omissions" rather than "commissions." At the end of the day, I begin thinking, "Why didn't I send a card to... who is going through a hard time?" or "Why didn't I spend more time with...who really needed to talk?" Of course, there are also times when I say the wrong thing to a friend or family member and know that I have hurt them. In other words, I really have not shown that I am a disciple of my Lord.
It's at those times that I especially praise God for His Most "Amazing Grace!" and confess my sins before Him. I pray that you will focus with me today on the words of this beautiful hymn - and also share any other hymns that speak of the Grace of our Lord.
