It seems that if I walked only by what I see in this hurried, fear-filled world, I could not make it through the day! I and several friends agree that we don't know how people survive without God's Love and Presence. Along with that is the power of prayer; I truly believe that we can feel that Peace and Presence that can only come from our Lord through prayer.
During two hospital stays in the last two years, I have had a most "unlikely" peace. Even when the doctor told me that he thought I had a very serious illness (though that was not true), I still felt a wonderful peace. It was only later that I thought through the fact that many people were praying for me. I praise God for the power of prayer!
