On this "Maundy Thursday" (or Holy Thursday), we remember the Last Supper of our Lord Jesus with His Disciples. It is also a time to be aware of all that our Lord has given to us as is written in today's devotional and scriptures: our God is one who "gives and gives and gives." It is our responsibility to be open and attentive to Him in order to receive all His gifts including His Perfect Peace.
The words in the beautiful hymn "I Gave My Life For Thee" remind us that Jesus gave His Life for us - and then asks what we will do for Him. Please join me during this Holy Week in praising our Lord for His amazing Love and then striving to give back by loving and serving our neighbors as He commanded at the Last Supper.
