One of the first Bible verses that I learned as a child was, "Let your light so shine before men so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father, which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16) I had never thought about a part God's Light shining through me being His Peace. What a blessing to be reminded that God gives us His Peace so we can shine in "transcendent" splendor - and overpower darkness.
Have you previously reflected on the idea that we can let our "light so shine before men" even in times of difficulty by showing and sharing the Peace of our Lord?
