Today's reading is a clear reminder about our noisy, speedy world! It is also prompts us to practice the spiritual discipline of solitude! What a blessing to know that our Lord is pleased by our desire to seek His Face - even when we don't meet that goal!
I have previously posted the beautiful hymn, "Be Still My Soul," and am doing so again today. I pray that we may take time today to list to the words of this hymn and also to "still our soul" so that we can be closer to our Lord.
