My spiritual director has reminded me a number of times to watch out for nudges from God. She says that many times these feelings of being nudged to do a certain thing - call a certain person, visit a friend or shut-in, email encouragement to someone, etc., may very well be the direction God is wanting me to go. I think that today's devotional is telling us the same thing when it says "be on the lookout for all that I am doing."
The scripture passages are both such wonderful reassurances that God does hold us by the hand and is a shield for us throughout life. It is up to us to profess our trust in Him. A few weeks ago, the devotional had a suggestion to repeat the words, "I trust you Jesus," many times a day. Have any of you been able to do that? Do you have any stories to share about the result of that commitment and trust?
